Among all the publications, Dog Fancy may provide the best opportunity for writers. Many of the articles are written by freelancers because the magazine looks for fresh ideas. The readers are generally college-educated, middle class adults interested in dog training, health, behavior, activities, and general care.

The idea presented should be well-focused information how the topic will be presented and the names of sources to be used. Background information about the writer and credentials should be included.
